I saw a rainbow at midnight
Way out on the ocean so blue
And there was your face in this rainbow
Guiding me back home to you
All through the war I was praying

But now all my dreams have been shattered
It seems that my rainbow has lied
For when I knocked on your door dear
They said with a new love you’d gone
