Dirt Gardener

I like dogs, am a dirt gardener,
Love to cook and am an exceeding
Doting mother and grandmother
And have tremendous respect for
My husband’s political analyses.
With a tool of my own invention,
I cracked my own resolve,
Weighted it in my hand and struck
Myself hard.
And I felt you creep in to freeze
And expand.
