Too Fat For Ballet

Am I in over my head?
Some days I wake up and wish I was a nurse or a lawyer instead
But I’ve worked at this since I was three
Since when my teacher told me I was too fat to do ballet
So listen up can’t you see
I’m more than those people who you see and who have said that they love me
I’ve got so much I want to say
But if you don’t hear me — I want to do floristry at TAFE… floristry at TAFE…
Where you going? no one’s showing up today
I guess it’s just the weather keeping them inside
Maybe you could bring a friend or two to fill it up
And I will buy them a drink with my 15 dollars pay
