All I’ve got is a photograph
That takes me to place in time when my life still had plans
Scars of life had not left their mark
And all the roads that lay ahead weren’t hidden in the dark
Oh the years have been so unkind to leave me all alone
All my choices I’ve yet to find them
As I stare at this photograph
The face I see me looking back brings needles to my heart
How did I lose track of who I am
To find me now here on my own with all hope torn apart

Maybe I should cast my fears and gather up these broken dreams
To make them a reality for me
To live the life I hoped for, but then my sorrow brings me back again and again
