Though it’s barely December, I can already see
Snow on the sidewalks and lights on the tree
There’s somethin' 'bout Christmas that leads me to believe

When the family’s together swappin' stories of old
Don’t they seem to get better they are told?
And like all the others, I fight to resist
Aunt Helen’s yearly holiday kiss
