I Made Something

I worked for days
Finished it then died
I loved what I made
But I was alone the whole time
I wonder what I’ve missed
All those days that turned to nights
And then I woke up a little older
You can find things to do
To push away pain and worry
May not ever need to feel anything
You can find a way
I look out my big window
I see ghosts out in the dark
Afraid of what they want me to know
I made something, something that I trust
Surround myself with everything that lives inside
I wonder what I’ve missed
All those days that turned to nights
