The Undiscovered World

The morning Sun reflects off the snow
As the new day begins
The thawing of a new world
The beginning of spring
This vast land of it’s ray
It breathes and it moves
From a frost shifts
Secretly
To deepen it’s roots
The morning songs are heard
As little creatures return
To their familiar feeding grounds
There’s sleep in their eyes
And there is a morning cry
An empty stomach of little wolves
And the bear den and it’s cubs
A new and exciting world
The undiscovered world
A small waterfall opens
To ease the thirst of creatures
Life under water is more easy
It’s ceaseless call to it’s creator
The mighty river breaks
To open a doorway to the other side
And for fun the carabou go for a ride on the ice
Some make it and some die
The morning horizon gives dew
And all of creation turns
With warmth and with play
We get to live for an another day
