«There it is,» he says
As he plows headlong, through the hail of smoke
Pieces of bombs
His legs explode
And turns around, comes back home
«So it’s over now,» he thinks to himself
As he opens it up
He drops like a stone
Fire behind and counts all his toes
To make sure they’re all right
He goes home
