Sunny days on the shores of the lake man
Skateboards jumping cracks in the pavement
Head high never «if» I’ma say «when»
Days blur together and we wonder where the time went
Get together when the sun goes down
Pick up some liquor, get people around
The cops drive by so we don’t make a sound
Put beers in the bushes and get down on the ground
Nobody let me drive home
Working but we still broke
Livin' for the weekend but its over in an eighth note
But all good things must come to an end
Sun’s coming up and we should all go to bed
The worries of the week start to fill my head
But I’d rather reminisce on sunny days instead
