Right Now

The summer sets again and slowly falls into the sky
And all the strength inside is leaving distorted truth and misery
And darkness finally sets upon to reveal the fear within me
And I know I’ll never be the same
Right now… as surely as the sun will fall
I know… there's more to life worth living than before
Somehow… all I need to do is find the truth
And if it’s all that I am giving then I know that I’ll start living

A fire used to burn but now has dwindled to a flame
all the warmth and love within me dissipates and starts to fade
And slowly I felt torn apart
And all I had once now is empty
And the ashes are just what remains
And as slowly as a world could fall apart
I am losing connections from the heart
And if I could see the sun long enough
(to get to safety)
And if I could feel the warmth long enough
(And then maybe)
I know I would be strong enough
And had everything I needed here to finally live again
Now it’s time for me to resurrect a change
