Man is,
Afraid of the unknown,
I don’t know what the night brings,
When I’m alone
The lamp’s on,
It’s always been that way,
It’s a way, I hope that things,

And I’m embarrassed to say,
That I’m still scared of the dark at my age,
It’s not the monsters under my bed or in the wardrobe,

Fears surround me,
Like an army of ninja ghosts,
