The Screaming Wind

As I slip into death’s black grip
Submission into infinite
My rope has tightened
I’m drowning in flames
My last hope lays silent
And my deeds erased
Cross out my name
And cast my dust
As I descend into my final domain
Although I’m at my end
I will become the screaming wind
