I owed debt to sin that flesh and bones could not pay
Mercy came in flesh and bone not of this world but divine
Jesus the only Christ came and died for me
Jesus you bled and died for my sins
I am so grateful for your blood
You paid the price on the cross where you died for me
He was tortured, pierced, battered and nailed to the cross
He endured and bore the pain He didn’t deserve
For me He died and rose again
death could not hold Him down
The grave could not stop Him
