You know I stand in disbelief
I find strange consolation in your leaving
Life’s so supernatural
Cannot survive forever without breathing
You can’t live without disguise
And understand your mind
You can look me in the eyes
The only thing you’ll find is your confusion
The stories that you tell to me
Are fragments of your own imagination
People you pretend to be
Will you behold in fascination
Until you stop to realize
That life is not for fun
