Well some days go,
Some days come quicker than you thought you would have liked to
know,
Time can be thin,
But it’s always thicker when you think that it’s slow,
And hours pass only as fast as you let yourself let them go.
I had a day, lasted a week,
A week a year, I fear,
Some months are jumbled into just one day,
And when I thought about it,
I decided, when I tried it,
I could make time go away,
But you’ve gotta make time for time,
You can’t fast forward,

I know you’ve gotta live for now.
Well some nights last,
And other times I find my mind lets them go way too fast,
It’s just the kind of thing that really gets me going,
When I can’t find a piece of past,
And memories got this disease, like sand would seize up a piece of glass.
