Ultramarine

The ocean’s floor is where the waves go falling
To rest and then repeat all over they lash the sands
Imprint their rage and fury
And then again disappear
The oceans bed is where my dreams swim boundless
Preparing to arise again
They bloom and glow like flowers in the water
And in a moment
To the sky they open
Delicate, teeming, the spaces
And the endless blue
Distance that’s seeming so perfect from all earthly terrors
All I desire contained
Within this painted blue
Way under the waves
The oceans breast feels all the silence sailing
Ballooned in plumes of air
I watch and wait because some time or other
The universe is under water
