Vacations Over

Book upon my nightstand that I read before I sleep.
Wishing that the sandman comes tonight before I count to three.

Shiver when the lights die but I’m safe beneath my sheets.
Running outta air in tight and claustrophobic surroundings.
And they gave to me.
Something to believe.
Everywhere I go.
Everyone I see.
Out to get me.
But theres a place I go where nobody knows
when I’m deep asleep sleep where nobody can get me.
This vacations over.
Wakings so much colder.
This vacations over.
Dreams don’t last forever.
I can see the sunrise through a false reality but I
cant open my eyes when all of my nightmares capture me.
