Beauty and the beast
Have polished off their feast
They’re living on the edge
They’re off their heads and on my mind
They’re taking off their clothes
For perfect life they chose
Into the emptiness
The gods could not care less
Long live the land down under
Foaming heads and gutless thunder
Killing time has come
For creatures on the run
Getting wasted in the sun
Each and everyone
Slightly overdone

I watch the dinosaurs
They manicure their claws
Who knows where they’ve been
They’ve lived and lost
The wishful wicked years
They cry but there’s no tears
The weak must feed the strong
They know where they belong
I watch the boys go down
The sinking ship is leaving town tonight
