Here’s a bedtime story for the young and the old
It can get quite scary, you’ve been warned, you’ve been told
There’s a cannibal and a pirate waiting in the hold.
A skeleton on the deck, waiting in the cold.
Let’s take a trip on a Ghostship
Unfurl that tattered sail
Walk the plank into the drink
Into the belly of a whale
Dirty stinkin rats are chewing off your toes
Scurvy riddled body rotting ‘neathe your tattered clothes
Screaming of the banshees can be heard in the air
The devil wants your soul, life can be so unfair!
Let’s take a trip on a Ghostship
Unfurl that tattered sail
Walk the plank into the drink
Into the belly of a whale
Medusa’s gaze will kill ya, it’ll turn you into stone
Song of the siren, will chill ya to the bone
So turn this ship around and go back from whence you came
Land of the dead, this trip was all in vain!
