Constellations

A view of the ocean tide,
But the tainted glass keeps me inside.
I want to smash the invisible walls,
That hold me here.
All hope lost in quicksand,
Because the rope began to break.
I held on tight knowing I could be gone,
And that’s the chance I’ve got to take.
I’ve learned to be disappointed,

That a dream is just too far away.
Like they’ve locked the door,
And taken the key.
My eyes see stars that I,
Can only picture in my mind.
I was told there were only clouds,
When I looked up to the sky.
But I will create,
Constellations.
When our fears begin to die.
When the stars and I collide.

Somebody told me time healed everything,
But I wont wait, on a heartbreak.
Can we pain the walls we built in the first place?
And I knew from the start.
That my tired aching heart,
Needed something new,
And I know that you playing god is just a head case.
