When I was younger, I would run away
And read a book I’d treasure everyday
My hero jumped right off the page
You set me out of my cage
You shined a light on all that I could do
Gentle but stronger, laughing, crying too

Now that I’m older I feel a hole
I’m going back, I want to open up
