As I walk through my front door
The first time in a while
Empty spots where the pictures were
Remind me of a time
When things were different

There’s only empty space

Something different about the smell
Since you took your perfume
All alone on an empty couch
Surrounded by the room

On the grocery list
That says «pick up a bottle of wine»
