Of all the birds in the sky
You reign as the highest
And it’s so hard to see you
From way down here
Soaring over my head
I am just a small scar
In your perfect picture
Of the way it should be
But what I’d do for you green jay
So close and so far away

Most days
Taking things in
And spitting them back up
