The gentle cold of dawn creeps in my window
Reminding me of times before I knew you
When I walked the nights alone
Looking for reasons to come back home
Once again, I face the dawn
Sitting up in bed, watching the skyline
The buildings have turned red and it’s high time
To think of sleep and close my eyes
