Tick-tock goes the clock on the wall, I’ve been watchin' that hand all day
This suit couldn’t fit me any worse, think I’ll head out the back and slip away
To my pick-up truck, my baseball cap, and my old white cotton tee
And head for the lake with 12 in the Coleman and get back to bein' me

Gridlocked on the interstate, I can’t find my way out of here
