Less than 8 percent get the job
And out of that
3 percent of ‘em sort of look like me
2 percent from the same class as me

But outside of that
It really don’t feel all of that inclusive

Instead I said that I want opportunities for growth
She put me on a project that was boring at best
When I was done with it they was more than impressed
Stakeholders virtually congratulating me
I ain’t lookin' for no praises but that’s the way it be
Will all of my efforts get equated with exceeds
Or the highest ranking they got? We have to wait and see
