Reverie

I’d often think about it
My life under the sea
I wanted not to tell you
My God, what happened to me?
If moisture wasn’t empty
There’d be some certainty
I sometimes think about it
With glee, it never happened to me
There’s someone in the bed frame that holds some power over me
I float above the headboard, yet slide beneath the sheets
There’s someone in the bedpost who says he sees what I see
He told me not to tell you there’s life in hesitancy
I sometimes think about it
My life under the sea
It’s chilling and repulsive
And blinded by reverie
There’s someone in my bedroom
Who says he’s infinity
I tried to wash the dirt out
But look what happened to me
