Hiding in the Trees

I was hiding in the trees
there was only you and me
on the wire where I stand
from the sunrise till sunset
always searching for the act supreme
came the rain and stormy winds
it was changing the whole scene
lots of people down the street
and the world under my feet
I was looking for a chain reaction
something wild to feel born again
I can get a bigger satisfaction
I will never be alone again
take everybody out
now I’m just starting to dance
can’t you see I’m ok
and I’m already sleeping away
