Et l'écho de nos montagnes

Bergers, pour qui cette fête
Quel-est l’objet de tous ces chants?
Quel vainqueur, quelle conquête
Mérite ces cris triomphants?

Ils annoncent la naissance
Du Libérateur d’Israël
Et, pleins de reconnaissance
