When I woke up this morning
I was wondering where I’d be
When the sun comes up tomorrow
But nobody answered me
Don’t know the days that haven’t been

To show her what she means
To me she is a sunny day, moonlight when it’s gone
The icing on a birthday cake, reason for a song
The reason for another plate, two pillows on the bed
