If you wait at the departure gate and think of chances lost
When your memories crack a smile but you’re asking 'at what cost?'
When the devil and the angel play their games within your heart
Don’t shed a tear when the time to leave draws near
For those you left behind

If you feel a certain emptiness when you go to take your seat
As the world outside the window becomes a blur of grey and green
You can close your eyes and block your
ears but your mind will still think on
Don’t look to explain as you’re sped upon your way
