Drag myself into another day
Searching for change, can’t spare the change
Unclear of what I wanna do
Tired of the old but where’s the new?
And as the hours dissolve into a day
This endless talk just brings further delay

With unsure hands and restless feet

With ideas beset by doubt
Validity that’s wearing thin
Just like the seconds in a sale
Like the untouched summer ale
The words just seem to melt away
