Remain

sometimes i follow Your name,
and even beg for more,
too often then i crumble,
down onto the floor,
forgetting where i came from,
can be so immature,
forgetting all that’s perfect,
i turn and shut the door
but You still remain
and i still need You,
more than i can ever know,
more than life can even show to me
my vision clears so quickly,
my past is torn away,
new life breathes through my body,
and pumps into my veins
