Disorientated again, sick to my stomach
Once again a screw up, egg shells for feet, fragile walk
And what was once a hug is starting to feel more like a choke hold
Promised not to pick at it but this scar never gets old
Sugar coated words but teeth so sharp they cut through bones
And they turn on each other casualties, blood, bodies grow
And though my shovel’s blunt with all the love I have I’ll dig this hole
