She said it don’t feel worth it anymore
Feel broken, beat, and sick cos life’s a chore
Her legs began to shake, she hit the floor

She cried it don’t feel worth it, not at all
At 3pm she took the pills then called
I asked her what was wrong and she just stalled
I drove on over just to see what’s wrong
I picked her up and took her for a ride
Her eyes were slumped, she said she wants to die
She stumbled thru her words a dozen times
Confessed she took too many then she cried
Her speech began to drift, she said she tried
My mind began to panic, lost her eyes
Baby stay awake, you’ll be fine

I held her in my arms, baby talk
Her legs were weak, she couldn’t make the walk
We rushed her in, the nurses ran in shock
Her face, it lost it glows, we watched the clock
Always listen, don’t pretend
Love them every moment that you spend
You’d never see the day that it could end
