Throw the Man Down

you dance so lightly as you turn your man round
when he tries to hold you you throw the man down
your eyes could hold his they’re a light shade of brown
but when he wants to trade glances you throw the man down
he just wanted to see if affection was waiting in store
he didn’t know that rejection would mean that his head hits the floor
and he cries out for mercy lying prone on the ground
when he risks an apology you throw the man down
