She’s Coming Home
She said, «It happens all the time
Two people fall out on each other.
Its so hard to stay in line
We can’t push this much farther.»
She gave me a look and then she walked out the door.
She left me standing here all alone.
She said she wanted her life to be so much more.
I wonder when she’s coming home.
So I sat here for hours waiting for her to phone
and to hear her rying and telling me she was wrong.
Well that was a long time ago
and I’m still waitin gfor her to return
I heard the other day that she got married
I guess she’ll never learn…
