In a gentle way he would ride his bike
In a gentle way he’d smoke leaves at night
All the heavy thoughts would float away
Never had a god but he liked to pray

All it took was a blue jay

Her name was Hannah Holliday

She prays he finds a weather-vane
With a robin perched and peaceful
That can sing him home to her again
But in the rain nothing is flying
On the train he’s only hiding
And he sees the busy people
