After 10 years

I open my eyes and it’s March 2025
I look around me and clothes are scattered around
I brush my teeth, wash my face, and get ready
Shall I have a drink with people today?

After 10 years, I still feel the same as before
But no one is waiting for me
My head hangs low in embarrassment

How is it now
They look at me, they only look at me
The wrinkles on our parents' face increased
Soft voice, numb hands
A lot has changed, is it time that has passed
A growing sense of emptiness and
the old days pass by in a state of lethargy
People passing by me in a daze
A misfortune that fits me well
Another day passes, just passes by

If this was just a dream, I want to dream it again
