Where were my idols when I needed them most?
Smoking crack until they overdosed
Or showing skin off in a magazine
Selling me perfume, impossible dreams
And riot girls where did your anger lead?
To plastic perfect little drama queens
Misogynists and pricks still rule my world
And dirty girls only got this way so they might be heard
Generation bored is nothing to stand for
Stringing constant useless noise up at wanting more
If we don’t spit something out we might just disappear
It’s just a new breed of false security I fear
Pretty pink hearts hide the rage in me
Picking at me like a scab until it bleeds
Just know that it gets easier than this, I swear
You just can’t see it from there
