I saw cities swallowed by the ocean
I saw children crying in the streets
Hundreds stranded on the overpass
Bodies rotting in the brutal heat
Cries for help fell on deaf ears
5 days passed and no one came
Pointing fingers while the people died
I saw a nation hang it’s head in shame
