When I close my eyes I can see you
I can feel your smile, can you see me too?
Days drag on and on
When you close your eyes do you think of me?
When the nights grow cold do you still believe?
I would give my life just to be with you again
I imagine your face I hold it all night long
When I can’t go on your love makes me strong
You’re all that I live for… yeah, (it's true)
Thousands of miles may keep us apart
But I reach out in darkness and I touch your heart
It’s the dream
When I dream I find myself living in yesterday
I stare into your eyes, over and over again
Just to touch your face and to stroke your hair
The love we’ve made and the love we share

As I lie here on my death bed, struggling for breath
