Just cause he says he’s friendly Lyle
And acts so nice to your child
No mean it’s safe to walk on the tile
No mean there’s enough gas to make the next mile
Cause even the best have lied once in awhile
Just cause he has a friendly smile
His hair is combed his nails filed
Don’t mean there’s no deceit or guile
Is he for real or just acting

Sometimes I’m afraid to vote
He could be a viper in disguise
He could Satan as an Angel of light
Just cause he has such pretty eyes
Don’t mean his teeth won’t bite
So when you go to elect
The next President
Remember to expect
Words are often bent
Is he for real or just acting

Sometimes I’m afraid to vote
Promises are compromised
All the more to eat you my dear
Lies are truth and Truth are lies
And nothing really is that clear
So vote for me and I do this
I’ll be the very thing you wish
I’ll bow to you-your feet I’ll kiss
But once I’m in office my words I’ll twist
