And I oddly sense their whimpers
My god, my ears so clogged but I’ve been nodding to their whispers
They’re speaking to me deeply, trying to get in the picture
But I framed in all of what they’ve been saying in my scriptures
They say they see my future and what I’m doing is crucial
Talking bout «you need guidance young sire, let me recruit ya»
How am I supposed to understand? Feeling like a kid again
Hide under the blankets til the angels let me go to bed
Position changing through every phase of the night
No sleeping, they made me fight
Just take my brain to the light
Exhausted and awfully bothered by all of these talking monsters
It’s awkward and probably nonsense and all of it feels so toxic
I’m going dumb off of these sedatives
Just tryna stay away from these revenants

This is just my mama’s gift, she passed it on to her kids
