Here is a city of contrast
Yet it’s reputation is built on the imagination and abilities of it’s people
The city was in their hearts
Detroit has always moved forward on faith
Building and re-building
It looks only to the future
The face of Detroit is changing every day
And the old always gives way to the new
Perhaps fate had it’s eye on this place from the very beginning
