Third Letter Home

Mum my Green Card came this morning
It’s all legal I can work now.
We had a party at the Salon
They all can’t wait to meet you!
I must keep myself busy 'cause I’ve really been quite stupid
I’ve met a man who’s very nice
And very married too!
He’s got two kids as well mum
And he says he’s going to leave them
I’m scared in case he doesn’t
And I’m scared in case he won’t.
He does not come round often
When he does, I feel like saying leave the
Money on the sideboard, I could do But I don’t.
And I don’t like the feeling…
I know if Dad could see me…
