We drove a mini van
All across this land
Playin' music in the streets
Just for fun
Finally out of school
We were howlin' at the moon
And laughin' like life had
Only just begun
Simple times
Simple pleasures
There wasn’t a hurry
And there wasn’t a pressure
Sometimes you find
You got nothin' but time
And time is the sweetest of treasures
She’s only three
But sometimes she feels older
I’m drinkin' coffee as she tells me about her dreams
And I suddenly realize of all the good things in life
That’s about as good as anything will be
