You put your rifles down
But in your ears there’s still that swishing sound
And you feel lost somehow
Where is that piece for you that they have found?
The road is barred

Your politicians say it’s over now

True, it hurts
You proved your worth

Of that lame conversation
Where they ask you
If you’d die for your nation

It’s back to work, back to a normal day

Who’s got the nerves
That you deserve?
