Remember Elijah

God knows, at times we’re afraid
But He, wants us to be brave
He has made us bold and strong
And He’s with us all along
Do you remember Elijah?
He was very bold
He spoke to kings and leaders
Telling them God’s word
Even when they did not like
What he had to say
He stood his ground, said aloud
God’s word I will obey!
When we exercise our faith
We believe God
Despite what comes our way
Our faith will give us great strength
And like David we’ll defeat Goliath!
Do you remember Elijah?
He was a man of faith
Spoke to the heavens and god
Held up all the rain
Even when the things around
Seemed impossible
He stood his ground, said aloud
God’s will I fulfill!
When we exercise our faith
We believe God, come what may
Our faith will give us great strength
And like David we’ll defeat the giants!
