But I’m blind to what I see

Instead I indulge defeat like I lost by default
That’s insult to injury watch me bleed
Such a 3rd-degree murder assault
Emotionally I’m done
Mentally I’m drained
Spiritually I feel dead
So don’t expect me to smile, physically
And I fear what I might become
Your son is lost wandering in the hot sun
At day and the moon at night from twilight to dusk
I hope the dawn draws near and right
